A paved path from the entrance of building leads to the main building. There are galleries present in the complex. These galleries contain the drawings and carvings which shows the stories of ancient times. These buildings have been developed using sand stones and huge pieces of rocks. These sand stones were brought from a hill which is around 50 km away from Angkor wat. Specially designed boats and rafts were used for the purpose of transportation.
The tourists specially come here to see the sunrise and sunshine which cause a magical spell at them. To get best view of rising sun, you can use upper terraces or you can stand near the pond. If you have time then you can also go to near by hill. It is not only used as an architectural heritage but people come up for their spiritual uplifting.
